2022 Pre-K and Kindergarten Conference

Join us for the 41st Annual ASCD Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Conference presented in partnership with Illinois ASCD.

Registration is open!

The 2022 Conference will be an in-person event featuring 100 sessions and more than 70 speakers. Participants will have access to every session recording for 60 days after the event. Register online for the in-person or virtual event now.

We are excited by some new faces, new concepts, and new ideas. We will have over 150 Featured Presenters and Concurrent Presenters with 275+ sessions total during the show!     Keynote, Day One

    Brandon P. Fleming

    Brandon P. Fleming is a nationally acclaimed Harvard educator and author of MISEDUCATED: A Memoir. His story of struggle, success, and service has inspired millions around the world. An at-risk youth and college dropout turned award-winning educator, Fleming is Assistant Debate Coach at Harvard University and Founder/CEO of the Harvard Diversity Project. Fleming was recruited to join the Harvard debate faculty at the age of 27. Harvard later approved Fleming's proposal to establish a new department within the university system called the Harvard Diversity Project – an unprecedented pipeline program of the Harvard Debate Council. Fleming now leads an executive staff and board that has raised over a million dollars to enroll over 100 students of color into Harvard’s international summer debate residency on full scholarship.

    Jack Hartmann

    Jack Hartmann's Super Fun Learning Songs are all about making learning even more fun with the very best in educational music. Jack's music is research-based and teacher-approved to focus on helping children learn important state, national and early childhood standards. All of Jack's songs and videos engage children with not only great educational content, but with cool beats, kids love, and fun movements.

Illinois licensed teachers may earn 12 PD hours for attending the live or on-demand conference.
 
To receive credit: 
1. Complete the digital ISBE evaluation found on the Illinois ASCD website.
2. The evaluation will ask what sessions you attended each hour.
3. You will receive your evidence of completion upon submitting the form for each day.
4. Enter your earned hours into your ELIS account.
